So much for all that “Kentucky will be my first visit” talk, huh? ESPN’s Dave Telep reported last night that the nation’s top high school player, Shabazz Muhammad, will spend his Wednesday afternoon visiting the UCLA campus…unofficially. Muhammad is checking out Westwood along with five-star guard Kyle Anderson and there are reports that he played a little pickup ball with Kevin Love and Russell Westbrook. The LA Times reports that Muhammad also spent his Sunday across town on USC’s campus, where Kardashians are the low-hanging fruit and the Trojans were practicing for their upcoming Brazil trip. Muhammad still has his five official visits available and Kentucky should be the recipients of one of them, though his father said this week that they still aren’t sure where they’ll be taking them.
For today, however, there’s only one thing to remember. If they tell you to stand up, Shabazz, you have to stand up.
