Kentucky Sports Radio

University of Kentucky Basketball, Football, and Recruiting news brought to you in the most ridiculous manner possible.

Shabazz on TV! Shabazz on TV! Shabazz on TV!

Here’s your chance to see two big time recruits who may very well end up in Kentucky blue.

Shabazz Muhammad and his fellow Gaels from Bishop Gorman are about to tip-off against DeMatha Catholic High School out of Hyattsville, Maryland. The game will be televised on ESPN U and you can also pick it up on your computer if your home or office is ESPN 3 friendly.

Stick around after Shabazz to see Anthony Bennett vs. Jabari Parker, the No. 1 player in 2013, in the 3:00 game.

Chat about the games in the comments section.

Go future Cats.

Jay Williams is “right up there” with Jimmy Dickes as an analyst. You can almost see Cal drool as he watches Shabazz 🙂

Man he shoots a lot. Even when he shouldn’t. No doubt he is a shoot first pass never. Can’t deny the talent though.

Anybody out there willing to sell me decent tickets at a fair price for this Saturday’s game? My wife and I would really like to go a game for my 31st birthday. Thanks!

Thanks #5. I really miss Liggins and can’t pull or pray enough for him to make it
in life and basketball. His future appeared to be one of ability squandered until
he started trusting Cal. Now that he has moved on he still is emotionally connected
to Cal and UK. That is family first, that is players first, that is what Cal is doing here
in our state and university. That is the silver cord that a lot of players have never
experienced. With this in mind anytime I read a comment giving absolute evaluation
on one of our players lack of any redeemable talents and won’t get any
better, I’ll just look at who is on the bench and what he is offering to that
overrated, useless kid on the floor.
Thanks Coach Cal for your vision, ability and conviction.

As nice as that nasty dunk was Shabazz, I was more impressed with the court awareness and tip pass to set it up. Great performance by Bazz.
