Semih Erden Talks Enes Kanter And The Cavs

Life is all about small amusements (and not pulling a gun on the thousands of morons you encounter on a daily basis) and one of the tiny enjoyments I’ve found over the past few weeks are these Turkish television segments discussing Enes Kanter. This one brings together current Cleveland Cavalier and former Turkish teammate of Enes, Semih Erden, a sweaty, mulletted fat guy in a Cavs jersey and two other guys. It’s like Istanbul’s version of The Hangover.

Erden shares his inside perspective of the Cavs’ genuine interest in Kanter and confirms that Enes is still pushing hard to get to Washington, the team he’ll work out in front of Friday. There’s other stuff too, but it’s really just about the fat guy’s mullet and earring.

I don’t get why yall are crying about the 500 wins thing? It’s pretty cut and dry. Memphis and UMass was caught cheating. If the wins are taken away from them, why wouldn’t they be taken away from the coach as well? Isn’t he ultimately responsible for the basketball program?

    Quit crying you little pu**ies.

That was a terrible dubbing over. I speak Turkish and what that fat guy with the mullet was actually asking Erden, was who had better hair, Calipari, Pitino or Pat Riley.

I’ve got a feeling that this is not at all what they’re talking about.

I like the term ‘nuclear clearing house’.

If we could find this without the subtitles, it could replace that Hitler video that everyone uses.

    I’m Turkish.

Although the subtitles are not in sync, most of the things being said are translated (using a limited English). The last thing the fat guy says is that they should dispose of the nuclear waste in Washington Wizards, that’s how desperately the team needs a change.

That sweaty, mulletted fat guy is actually the most famous NBA pundit in Turkey. Every week, he wears a different team’s jersey.

    Here’s him with Lebron James:
