See Two Potential Future Cats One on One

We are getting a little video happy tonight as we want to make sure people see this highlight battle between two potential future Cats. This week John Calipari was in attendance to see 2012 #1 player Shabazz Muhammad and 2013 #1 player Julius Randle as their two teams faced off in a holiday tournament. The video below shows some of the offensive moves the two starts possess and gives you a small indication of why both are coveted by Calipari. Both could end up Cats and I think Shabazz is very likely to walk into Rupp next year doing this type of thing.

He’s dyin to play tomorrow but Cal is tellin him to rest. Still over a wk away, no way he misses the UL game. As for Shabazz and Julius, I hope Cal works his magic and ends up with both.

Ben Howland will not survive this year, UCLA
will bring in a new coach to keep Shabazz home
and help us fill our brand-spankin’ new seats.

Shabazz is a BIG TIME talent that we need at UK. That kid is awesome and I can only hope he’ll bring his talents to UK. Coach Cal is still undefeated in Rupp Arena and we’ll need players like Shabazz to carry on that streak.

Big Blue Nation from Cali to New York City and all around the world!!!! GO BLUE

FYI Randles team did win tourney on Wed night and Shabazz team lost in fifth place game to Mater Dai. Bazz did nothing in 1st half{2 points} but ended with 26 though the points came when the game was already decided. Not knocking the kid just giving details of the game and how a player getting 26 points can be misleading, game was over early.

    I like ‘Shoebuzz’.
Julius Randle can handle the ball; I like that kid.
Who was the white fella on Randle’s team; decent player.

They both have sweet jumpers, but I think Julius’ is a little prettier. I dislocated my shooting hand pinky in a high school bball game. It will definitely affect your jumpshot for a good month, but you can play through the pain. I’m betting he’s back by louisville.

Randle is a big guy for such a great handle. Shabazz is a must have, and kept saying how he likes the coaches who let the guards “go.” If we don’t get him though, it seems that he will stay on the west coast.

17 That was Mickey Mitchell. He is a 2015 prospect and is easily the #1 guy in that class. Youtube him; excellent passer, hyper athletic, and good size.
