I’ll take it!!
Its good to be a CATS FAN!!
I bet you that Alex Poythress will be our best all around player next season.
I think people will be surprised how good Wiltjer is. Just think about the growth that Harrellson made in one off season under Calipari. Liggins a well. Wilt will be a decent defender and a lights out shooter! Plus don’t sleep on Jon Hood..
7 and 8; not, 8 and 9 😉
And by No. 8 and 9, Drew means No. 7 and 8. Clearly.
Anyone notice the lack of “North Carolina” recruits on this list? Too bad, so sad:( Their top 3 recruits are #35, #50, #51 and they’re not listed as top contenders for any left unsigned. Wow…I hope we haven’t already dropped that game from our schedule, b/c it looks like a VERY easy win for Kentucky this year!! I love it.
All this talk of Alex being more than a two year player is crazy…..kid is a stud and another one and done! He might be the glue to next years team. Can defend, score and rebound. Yes please!!
Cauley-Stein??? Did Willie take a page out of MKG’s book or has he always used this name? I’ve only ever seen him referred to as Willie Cauley
I’m trying not to sleep on Jon Hood.. However watching him play makes me sleepy so it’s tough
Adams to Pitt not Notre Dame.
Any chance Hood is a contributor next year?
I’m afraid it may be in his best interest to transfer, take another year to rehab his knee and work on his game. With the recruits we have coming in I just don’t see him working his way into the rotation anytime soon.
But he sure does love being a Cat!
Look out for Arizona, didn’t realize they had 3 top tens. We need to get Bennett, I don’t like any other team having more top 10s than us. It’s a principal thing.
8 he did take a page from MKG’s book. They announced it a week or two ago.
Nerlens Noel “The Fresh Prince of Lexington”. Someone put that on a shirt!
12 – Yeah how is Arizona’s class not #1 with 3 top 10 recruits? I mean I am happy UK has the #1 class, but that doesn’t make sense to me.
#9 Lol
I am Jewish and have to ask…is Cauley-Stein Jewish?
At one point last season, Poythress was ranked in mid-20s. Kid had an incredible year, glad to see him gettin respect for it.
Only at Kentucky could a class like that be a bit of a drop from the previous year…
So knight had 28 pts on 11/12 shooting…7 assists, 2 Rebs…ksr needs to assign someone just to cover nba cats…since there are so many now.
Our 1,7,14,& 48 is a better group than the 6, 8, & 9
21. as of now, arizona nudges us for top class. only way we pull that out from underneath them would be if we got bennett. those kids going to zona are beast.
But, what they don’t have is Coach Cal, who is the master at getting kids like this to play together.
Since when does notre dame get big time basketball recruits?
24, it’s not notre dame, that guy is going to PITT
Wasn’t Mitch McGary once #2 in the rankings? He mustve had a horrible senior year, he’s down to #26 now.
Sweet 16 at best next year! If you’re lucky.
14 – howzabout “The Fresh Prince of Blue Air”? eh, eh? lol id buy it!
Don’t sleep on Torian Graham. UK was a leader for a while and he’d make an excellent combo PG/SG late addition. If the kid looks like he can qualify, don’t rule out Cal pulling a bit of magic
TAXman…what are you talking about? UK’s class is better than ‘Zona’s by far. I’m not the only one that thinks that.
Steve Adams is going to Pitt.
Damn, Arizona with 3 top 10. They better dominate this year if he wants to keep recruiting like that.
We’re close to 4 top 15 players, plus Cauley, plus Harrow and returning Wiltjer. That’d be a pretty good top 7, plus anything Hood and Beckham and Polson contribute.
Those ‘zona guys = not all that. When I say that I am referring mainly to Brandon Ashley who I think is hugely overrated and Jarrett is probably 10 spots too high as well. Goodwin > both as well as Bennett.
