Saturday Morning Hot Links

The big news this morning is still the news that 4-star quarterback Ryan Mossakowski committed to the Cats yesterday.  I had an email from Ryan when I came home last night announcing his commitment and it said “I am real excited about being a Wildcat”.  Based on comments last night, I’d say the feeling is mutual.  Now, onto the links…

  – A little blurb from the Dallas Morning News about Mossakowski’s commitment.  He said the UK passing game is what finally sold him on the Cats.

 – Former Cat J.B. Holmes is the leader at the end of two rounds of the PGA Championship.  Holmes tees off today at 2:40.  Catch it on CBS.

 – The Olympics are upon us and Tayshaun Prince is getting ready to participate in the most watched sporting event of all-time tomorrow morning.

 – Tayshaun is thrilled about being on the Olympic team.

 – Excuse me sir, but UK commitment Mister Cobble suffered a knee injury and might be looking at a long rehab.

 – Bozich takes a look at the road paved with uncertainty for this year’s UK and U of L squads.

 – One-upping Mark Cuban, who only draws suspensions, the owner of the ABA’s Kentucky Mavericks was banned by the league.

 – DON’T FORGET THAT TONIGHT IS FAN DAY 20008.  That link should have all of the info.  Don’t forget to go out tonight starting at 6 pm to show support for the football Cats as they embark on a very pivotal year in the comeback of UK football.
