Good morning, guys. Sorry I’m in pajamas, but I just got off the PJ. I slept well after that basketball win, how about you? We have a fun day ahead of us with more basketball rehash and a football game this evening, and always, I know, you’ll read my posts. Watching, waiting, commentating. Let’s get to the links.
–UK won. You already know though.
–Kyle Wilter’s hot shooting night came directly after a challenge from Calipari. Don’t let him get in his zone.
–Everything seems on track for Karl Towns to commit to Kentucky on December 4th, according to Next Cats. Calipari has already arguably got the Dream Team meets the Supreme Team for 2013; will Towns be the first domino to fall for 2014?
-Despite Joker’s firing two weeks ago, the seniors weren’t ready to see him leave Commonwealth and pulled for him to coach the last two games. They’re all in this together.
-Gotta have some Cliffs Notes for tonight’s football game? Mark Story’s got ya.
-In case you missed it last night, the NCAA declared Shabazz Muhammad eligible yesterday. However, freedom ain’t free especially round his way; Muhammad will have to repay $1,600 in impermissible benefits. Let the Enes Kanter comparisons begin.
–The UK Hoops team plays today against High Point, looking to get over a nasty loss to Baylor and Brittney Griner. On to the next one.
-On a sadder note, the women’s soccer team lost to No. 5/6 UCLA in the second round of the NCAA tournament, ending one of the best seasons in program history (14-7-1 and 2-1-1 against top fifteen teams). It was something unpredictable, but in the end it’s right. I hope they had the time of their lives.
