I live in North Carolina, and I feel as though it is now obvious the world is coming to an end. We made it through the devastating earth quake and hurricane Irene…but I’m afraid something happened this morning that we can not carry on through. Louisville Help Wanted has expanded, and there is now a Piedmont Help Wanted – long name amazing results. Same lady and everything. The end of the world is near.

Sam Malone and Brian Long are added walk-ons. Malone is in the family and makes sense. Not too sure what the Long addition is about.

How many 5 star players will end up at big blue madness. I will go out on a limb and say 7.
This is just the beginning. We must show them a good time. Not a “Ledo” good time, but more like an experience they must have again next year when they get to participate. Personally I want Archie, Mitch, and Perry to be there. Favorite 3 2012 recruits.

Bring some recruits in the last week of September for the campout. That is more impressive than the actual event itself.

In 1994 – the year UK went 1 and 10 – UK played at Auburn on a Thursday night…lost 41-14. Bill Curry’s family got a death threat because some random loser bet on the Cats to cover a 26 point spread and they missed by a point.

  61. Anthony

I remember that 23-22 loss against Mississippi State. Winfield hit the game winning field goal. We should have won that game. There was a horrible late hit that a Kentucky player did on MSU out of bounds with either 1:45 seconds left, or :45 left. That’s another game I say we should have won. Secondly that was the year Mississippi State only lost 2 games. To Alabama and Arkansas.

They wanted to schedule Western and their conference would not allow Western to Play without scheduling a Western home Game. It was their conference that mandated the “home” game for Western. I love the idea. Let’s remember WKU is an FBS (1-A) school, in state school. I think it was a great idea by Mitch and Co. And to get the game in Nashville, a great and easy city for UK fans to visit is fantastic. The Thursday night at 9:00(UK time) is a little inconvenient, but if you are a UK football fan, it’s not that big a deal.

  64. Andy P.
    11:01 am August 29, 2011 Permalink

Matt, for a guy who runs a UK Fan Website, you’re lack of knowledge of UK Football is astounding. We signed a mulit-year home and away deal with Western (4 or 5 years) with all the away games played at LP Field in Nashville. We did that rather then pay some MAC team a million dollars for a CWS game with no return game. Contrary to what you think, UK playing an in-state lower tier school is a good thing. Getting to play in a NFL stadium is great for the players. And last, it makes financial sense for UK.

  65. Matt Jones
    11:05 am August 29, 2011 Permalink

It is not financial sense for UK to play in the game…even after paying another team, UK will always make more money playing a home game.
