…but he does look high.
I’m sure most of you saw this story earlier in the week but, on a slow day, why not take some time and revisit it here? An employee of the University of Texas (who claims to be a Nebraska fan) posted what looked to a be a news story on the internet saying that Oklahoma QB Sam Bradford had been arrested for the distribution of cocaine and it immediately gained some steam as it was posted all over Big 12 message boards. The story also said that star fresman Landry Jones was involved and was eventually taken down and replaced with an apology.
I’m always one to tip my hat to a good dupe and this situation is no different. Perhaps the best part of the story was the final paragraph, which read:
“Normally success on the field has been followed by arrests off it for the Sooners. Booster groups expressed hope that these incidents were an indication that the team was going to have an excellent year.”
Ah, well done. But, this got me thinking and ultimately started up a discussion between my friends last night. If you were going to pull of a similar prank aimed at a rival team, what would your header be? “Brohm doubtful due to crabs”? “Pearl comes clean, lets teen girls out of basement”? “Terrence Williams learns to read”?
Have at it below.
