I really hope Washington takes Nerlens over Porter. If not, I hope Wall ditches them.

Say what u will, AB was THE difference between UK being top3 and what they ended up being. He is a monster on the inside, and has as much ” potential” to improve as anyone. I don’t think it’s a bad pick at all

Can’t believe Noels hasn’t went, teams are making a big mistake. Why wouldn’t you want a center that can throw peoples crap in the stands and rebound. A lot of NBA teams have no clue.

I know there’s money that is lost in going sixth, but it no longer matters. Now, there’s no pressure at least like there would have been. This is about his injury, not his ability.

8} it is also about ability. Cavs even said they took the most talented player available. Noel can’t score, has no shot outside of a dunk. His frame will get him forced out too far from hoop to have any positive on offense. He can pass some for a tall guy but in half court that is it on offense from him. Teams could even play hack a Nerlens the way he shoots free throws. Cal is right to compare him to Camby except that Camby was capable of shooting a 15 footer, Nerlens is not. Philly is getting a great guy that can help on weakside D and will be great for the community plus a potential great player next year with the NO pick.

Injury, plus all the talk about concern for those with whom he regularly chooses to associate.
