Ryan Harrow cleared to play at Georgia State

Harrow_Ryan_TV Head 12-13

A quick bit of basketball news before I get ready for Arkansas’ session: Ryan Harrow has been cleared to play at Georgia State. The NCAA granted Harrow’s hardship waiver to be closer to his ailing father, and he will be able to play immediately.

Best of luck to Ryan.

Wish him the best. Seemed like a good kid. Just not built for the bright spotlight.

Such an athletic kid who just wasn’t strong enough, mentally and physically, to compete here at UK. Coach Cal has always said it best, “This place isn’t for everybody.” I’m not bashing his talent, or his character. I think his star will shine bright at Georgia State. Good luck, Ryan!

Best of luck to Ryan. Seems to be a great kid, I’m sure he will do good thing at Georgia state. Wonder what the odds of a player like him transferring to uk and getting to play right away would be??? I say nearly impossible

Harrow, Devonta White and RJ Hunter should form the best backcourt in the CAA.

    Good to hear!

The young man has talent, and his year at NC State and two years at UK gave him some great experience. He should be in a great position to have a good career at Georgia State.

Best of luck to the young man and his family!!!

#6: That is a pretty good backcourt. But Georgia State basketball just moved to the Sun Belt conference. No longer in the CAA.

Driving and finishing in the early part of the season.

He was UK highlight stuff for awhile.

Obviously best wishes for his father, but after watching the ESPN special for the 100th time it is hard not to notice him not being willing to go hard and lead in practice.

Happy for the kid and wish him best of luck. Have to wonder what the NCAA’s justification was for letting him play immediately though
