Roy Williams has “no earthly idea” what Wiggins will do

Last night during a Tar Heel Tour event in Bull City, North Carolina, Roy Williams was asked what North Carolina’s chances were of signing “a top unsigned recruit.”
After the crowd laughed, Ole Roy gave his prediction: “25 percent. Four in a hundred is 25. …I have no earthly idea.”
The only thing that Roy does know is that the signing period ends on May 15th and he “expected it would be done by then.”

Four in a hundred is 25. try again, daggummit
Roy cant talk about a kid that hasnt signed a LOI. Shucks Roy, Thats a recruiting violation….
unc insiders know but Roy doesn’t. Yeah, someone is lying. I have to believe ol’ Roy on this one. Coke-cola drinkers don’t lie..
#2 I was thinking the same thing. Wow this could be huge UNC gets a recruiting violation, Kansas gets a recruiting violation. Looks like it may be down to the original 2 FSU and UK. I have always thought it was down to FSU and UK anyway. Hopefully we will hear something Friday or Monday. If nothing else maybe we hear about this recruiting violation of Ole’ Roy…
2&4- Nope. No one said his name. It’s really that easy to avoid that penalty.
4 in a hundred is most definitely not 25. That would be 4%.
Anyone buying that someone didn’t actually use Andrew Wiggins’ name?
As much as I’d love to see UNC get hit w/ those violations, he didn’t commit one here. No name was ever mentioned. BTW, if he had said 4 INTO 100, then it would indeed be 25 =)
Lord you know what he meant by 4 in a hundred. Why correct it? 100 divided by 4 is 25. Also it isnt a violation. he didnt say his name
@ #9 – GMTA?
Loves: Co-Colar, casinas and basketball. Hates: ‘at math junk. Dadgum crap.
#5 Thanks I didn’t notice that at first. The NCAA regulations are sooo stupid
can you imagine what a recruiting circus this could have been if wiggins was someone who liked being in the spotlight and craved attention?
CO-COLARS!!!!
It’s not Bull City, North Carolina. It’s Durham, North Carolina or just Bull City, but never, under any circumstances, would it ever be referred to as “Bull City, North Carolina.” We also would have accepted simply “DURM.” Unless you thought there was a place named Bull City, NC then that’s hilarious.
I didn’t know that a coach could make any comment referencing a recruit. None!
That is an NCAA violation.
