UK commit KC Ross-Miller, a point guard in the class of 2010, laced them up this weekend in Lexington as his God’s Academy team took part in the Dunkin’ Donuts National Shootout. Ross-Miller didn’t have a great trip as he put up 10 against St. Catherine’s JV team on Friday and then followed up with 12 points, six assists and four turnovers in last night’s loss to Campbell Memorial (Ohio). He admitted, however, that he might have done some things differently in an effort to impress Kentucky fans and that might have caused his poor play.
Also, Ross-Miller’s teammate, forward Josten Thomas was said to possibly be a target of some possible interest from the Cats, but the 6’7″ junior did not play last night after receiving two technicals in Friday’s game (one for taunting and one for an elbow). According to his coach, he’s getting interest from South Carolina, Ole Miss, UConn, TCU, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Oral Roberts.
Here are some of God’s Academy’s highlights from Friday:
And, since we don’t want to end on a downer, here is a KC Ross-Miller highlight video.
