RMU’s 10 Commandments

BFuXx5MCAAEeaEO.jpg_large

This picture was just posted on Twitter by a Robert Morris fan, who also says that RMU is planning a “Redout” for tonight. And he’s going to dress up as Moses.

I can’t make this stuff up.

Where are the commandments to “not hit women, no doing drugs, no guns, and no killing people”? Charlie Strong would not agree with these commandments.

Won’t be much of a “red out” with only 3,000 seats.

#8 is stupid. Why would this site not post information about our team’s opponent. I guess that’s why the RMU fan didn’t get into a real school.

I’m not saying that i would be anything less than thrilled to add Randle to this class as i know he is a phenomenal player and athlete… But anyone who acts like he and wiggins are interchangeable or at the same level is just not right in my opinion. I know i sound like a douche for posting that but does anyone else agree? Regardless, i think we lock 9 up with either of their commitments.

What’s wrong with this? #7 makes no sense given that it’s on their home court. Other than that, what’s the problem?

The NIT does matter. It is a matter of pride! UK needs to go in there take care of business tonight and beat those Colonials cause we need revenge against Baylor, Tennessee, and Alabama and then win this thing. To my knowledge no team has ever won the National Title one year and then the NIT the next. That would be something at least. GO CATS!

easiest way to not worry about RMU is playing good enough to NOT have to play RMU. we are getting what we deserve…

    A little trivia:

UK has won the NIT tournament twice, yet both years the MVP was from the losing team. The one year they lost the champtionship game, however, the MVP came from the winning team.

This does mean something. Its a matter of pride!! Its time to make a point. They should be upset and start taking it out on the NIT field. Starting with RMU.
This game tonight will show me alot about the character about this team. I hope to see some pissed off Cats and take this team to the woodshed!! If that doesnt happen, Im going to be very disappointed.
There is no doubt the talent is there, is there the heart to go with it? Cmon Cats!!!!

Also, Cal had better have an exit strategy prepared for the staff and the team. If Robert Morris wins this game, the court will be stormed.

Marching band, probably, although ‘man-boobs’ is an awesome guess. As for the game, I will only be disgusted if we give up and don’t play hard. There are teams in all the major conferences that don’t even make the NIT so it could be worse. CATS

Our inside players should have a field day offensively against this team. Poythress, Willie and Wiltjer need to constantly post their defenders up and take it to the rack. I would expect to see a lot of zone defense from them, so Mays better be hitting it from outside – either that, or Goodwin and Harrow need to flash inside for midrange shots.

Defensively, we need to shadow the outside shooters and make them try to beat us inside.

Like I said before, if the refs let the hacking and bumping get out of hand, UK could get shaken and end up in trouble.

Personally, I think the NCAA needs to address the foul calling (or lack thereof) situation at the end of the season and make some adjustments to how the games are being called. It has become way too physical. Good (real) defense is not being rewarded – this is just legalized muggings. In years past a good defensive team succeeded with quick hands for deflections, playing the passing lanes, and blocking shots. Today all they have to do is bump you out of bounds, knock you down, or just slap your hands off the ball. Oh yeah, and run into you and then flop down for a charge. The game is almost unwatchable as it is now.

UK is THE #1 seed in the NIT. Today we are only a 3 1/2 point favorite. Alabama, another #1 seed, is an 11 point favorite. Tennessee, a #2 seed, is a 9 point favorite. Go Figure !!!!

31, are any of the other teams playing road games? Might have something to do with it. I still think our administration bears some blame for not having a backup plan in place. Temporary ushers, security and concessions workers could have been hired and put in place in time to host the game at Memorial. We knew for weeks that UK’s chances of making the tourney field were tenuous.

Speer is an equipment manager on the team I believe. I was going to agree that my school is a bit sad but then I realized that Kentucky had to come to our court to play us in the nit. So I think we all know who’s sadder
