Ridge Wilson signs with the Kansas City Chiefs

Congratulations to former UK football player Ridge Wilson, who just signed a free agent deal with the Kansas City Chiefs. Wilson transferred to West Alabama last year after being dismissed from UK because of a disciplinary issue. The talented defensive end made the most of his second chance at West Alabama, earning Gulf South Conference Player of the Year honors after amassing 69 tackles, 18 for loss and 8.5 sacks.

In case you missed it over the weekend, Larry Warford was drafted in the third round by the Detroit Lions, and fellow former Cats Collins Ukwu, Martavius Neloms, and Matt Smith all signed free agent deals with the Vikings, Lions, and Falcons, respectively.
