Rice transfer Arsalan Kazemi chooses Oregon

Arsalan Kazemi was reportedly down to Kentucky and Oregon last week. Kazemi, the Rice transfer, ended up choosing the Oregon Ducks. According to Anthony Wireman, the biggest factor in Kazemi’s decision was class schedule. Oregon is just now starting the semester tomorrow. Kentucky is already a few weeks in.

dont sound like he’s gonna be eligible this season, esp at uk since classes have started. he is seeking a waiver for immediate eligibility. he would’ve helped this year if he could have played here, but cal has bigger fish for next season

If he was taking a year off to transfer I’m sure he could have got class work caught up by next year to be eligible to play I mean hello he did go to Rice so he’s a smart kid.

That’s fine. We didn’t need Mahmoud “Hitler” Ahmadinejad as a fan of UK Basketball.

Did UK really consider him? As we know, after classes start, it is downright impossible to get a waiver. Knowing this, UK has been done recruiting for this year. I don’t think UK pursued him too hard. But Oregon is claiming that they outrecruited UK. Probably the one and only time.

You’re absolutely right #9: Republicans don’t identify with Hitler. Liberals do.

#12 – you are an incorrect….Fascism is a form of Republican style government….that also includes Socialism….Fascists are central government control and Libertarian (division of Repubs) views

Ahmadinejad has said he wants to wipe Israel off the face of the map. Do you liberals understand that. It has nothing to do with Republicans but more to do with the liberal wuss Islamic sympathizer that unfortunately occupies that White House at this time. Now stick your thumbs back in your mouth turn the tv on and watch reruns of Honey Boo Boo.

According to CBS Sports, this player is not even eligible for 2012. He still has to ask the NCAA for a waiver to play. Do you think the NCAA would have granted a waiver if he was coming to UK? The answer is no, and then we would be stuck with him for 2013, in which we have all of our schollies committed. He simply waited too long to become eligiible for transfer. This season is set. Time for #9.
