University of Kentucky Basketball, Football, and Recruiting news brought to you in the most ridiculous manner possible.

Reliving Saturday’s Win on a Sunday Evening? Sounds Good.

In case you missed it, UK put on something of a show last night on offense.  I won’t judge you for not seeing it; maybe you were at a wedding reception and Usher’s “Yeah” came on and you had to run to the dance floor to rap along with Ludacris so your friends could see how hip you are.  I understand.  So take a look at the highlights put up by SEC Digital Network.  I particularly like the Sanders stiff arm at 0:35.  Nasty.

Defense will still need massive improvement before SEC. Oh, and how did our basketball recruits enjoy the weekend?

How pathetic….reliving a win over kent state one week after being humiliated. Your rival pitied you so much they took out their qb and it still wasn’t a problem.

Kent state!!! Were the greatest! Someone get a couch!

#3. Insight said $139. But the game never showed. Same price for Liberty and whoever. Time Warner, another power play.

Thanks for the highlights. I left at the end of the third. On the other hand, shame on you for allowing the screeching “stop the koch brothers” banner ads to disgrace the video. Everyone knows that Matt Jones has been an epic failure in national forums (twice) because of his douchebag partisanship. I guess we should strive to be “apolitical” like the herald leader, courier journal, msnbc, cnn abc, nbc and cbs. It’s funny watching you socialist ass clowns trying to represent UK (although it explains a lot of the out of touch failings of Mitch Barnhart). Oh, scrolling down reveals ksr is a subsidiary of USA Today. never mind.

Actually #4 I totally agree with you. We are excited about beating down a completely inferior opponent. P.S. did anyone see Western against Alabama? Can you say two win season for UK?

I’ve been really impressed with the improvement in the receivers. From a group who couldn’t catch the flu last year is catching everything thrown at them the first two weeks. I mean, they are making some tough catches. Tee Martin is probably the most overrated assistant coach in the history of college football.Thank you Pat Washington for putting a much better product on the field. If the defense doesn’t get alot better real quick, we still cannot score enough to win against a good team.

#6 – Actually, its fans like you that suck and are happy with finishing last or (woo hoo) second to last. Thank goodness we padded our stats against a weak team – since SEC play is right around the corner. Will it be a successful season if we finish 3-9 or 4-8? Really, answer the question.

With that program changing victory, I’m surprised Mitch didn’t announce today that Joker is getting a contract extention.

The 2006 UK football season began with a 59-28 loss to Louisville, followed by a 41-7 drubbing of Texas State. This was the 8-5 season that ended with a Music City Bowl win over Clemson. The Cats went 4-4 in the SEC, losing just 17-12 against Tennessee. They also beat Louisiana-Monroe just 42-40, and got shut out by LSU 49-0.

Will UK be 3-1 or 2-2 after first 4??…either way, it is hard to immagine a scenario of more than 4 total wins this year. This D is the achilles heel. Mighty Towson State gave a much better D performance than we did.

#14 – Correction, I LOVE UK FOOTBALL. I hate people like you and administrators like mitch that don’t understand just how far DOWN joker has taken the program.

Last place finishes in conference – last place recruiting classes – and inability to ‘coach up’ players.

If joker had never played for UK, he would have NEVER been named our coach. He has NOTHING on his resume that says he should be a head coach – especially in the SEC. mitch took the easy way out, “coach in waiting” – my azz!

48,000 in attendance. That includes the concession workers, security, workers, media, police and all of the FREE tickets that were given away for military appreciation day. Most people had better things to do on a Saturday night.

#21 – ANY win is something to be proud of, why else would you play the game? Could have ended in a loss like Arkansas to LA Monroe. #19 – You act like the program was UP at some point. UK football will always be UK football. If college football wasn’t handing out bowl bids like halloween candy, their run of 5(?) straight bowl games would have been about 2 out of 5. SO don’t act like this program has been playing in BCS championships or anything. Their step backward has been as small as their step forward was around the end of Brooks’ tenure.

Our offense was pretty fun to watch, except when we got stopped on our goal-line after running 4 straight HB dive plays (come on Sanders). Defense did well except for giving up a couple big plays, don’t let that happen and we could win an SEC game.

are people who think that someone not being upset with a win over an inferior opponent = them being ok with being bad. Idk what else you want the fans to do…pretend the Kent State game didnt happen just so pricks like you can bitch and moan about all the lossed. jesus christ get over it…UK is RARELY out of the cellar of the SEC, people accepting that as something common is not “holding the program” as douchbags like you would say. If the program has a great year where they compete in the SEC then Id bet anything the “bad fans” that hold the program down will be there cheering as loud as any of the Real Fan(s). UK fans are so good when UK is good and the absolute worst when they are bad. It’s really sad. GO Cats

I seen improvement in UK football and hope for this season WR Boyd caught 11 passes- more than his whole career, the other WRS all seem to be bubbling with confidence. Our QB looks great, improvement is needed on defense that can come yet being able to score helps the defense.
