University of Kentucky Basketball, Football, and Recruiting news brought to you in the most ridiculous manner possible.

Recruits are marching in

The “Blue Lights” Camp at Commonwealth Stadium kicks off today for high school juniors and seniors, and that means a lot of big-time talent will be in town with Coach Mark Stoops and the rest of the coaching staff. The players will be polishing up skills, while the staff adds some last minute additions to the 2014 class while working on building for the future.

Take a look as what some of the biggest names are saying on Twitter.

Matt Elam could be Mark Stoops’ first five-star commit at Kentucky, and this visit will surely have a big impact. If Twitter is any indication of the recruiting process, Tennessee is making the strongest push for his services along with the Cats. He will announce his choice in January at the Army All-American Bowl.

You know Drew Barker is going to do his best recruiting to get Elam on the squad.

Four-star wideout Thaddeus Snodgrass is ready to change the culture of Kentucky football.

This four-star wide receiver from North Carolina is uncommitted to a school, but his top-five schools in no particular order are Kentucky, Tennessee, South Carolina, Clemson, and West Virginia.

The No. 1 rated all-purpose running back in the country is ready for some Yahtzee!

Originally a Florida State commit, Denzel Ware committed to Kentucky, backed out and strongly considered Florida, then recommitted to Kentucky and defensive coordinator DJ Eliot, promising that was his final choice. He’s a solid defensive end addition – a position Mark Stoops loves.

#2 is right!!!! BBN needs to take to twitter in droves and show all these recruits love and how excited we are to have them here. If you hear any of these recruits talk about the BBN in their recruiting process it is ALWAYS about how we get on twitter and make them trend.

Getting Elam would be pivotal for the program. A 5 star recruit would insure we end up in the top 5 in recruiting.

Thought Berrios recently got an Offer from “The U” and Miami had jumped to the top of his list. Are they not in his top 5? If not, that’s good for us.

If this site is going to use Rivals when saying where the overall class rank is, then you cannot call Elam a 5 star recruit. I am not knocking his talent, but Rivals has him as a 3 star player. We would tear other fan bases up if they tailored their rankings like this in a basketball class, so why do we do it here?

Why doesn’t Elam go ahead and commit to the Cayts? He seems tight with this class, and would really look silly on his part if he winds up somewhere else.
