The game will take place on April 3rd. Kentucky clearly led the way with 5 players selected, followed by UNC, Duke, and Florida each with two players a piece.

Go Cats.

Theoretically, we could end up with 2 more of them if Wiggins and Gordon come here.

That is 5 guys who can recruit Wiggins, though. And that West team? Ya think the coach will find a way to play all 4 of our guys at once for a couple minutes?

    14) What is wrong with you people? A couple players are playing like freshmen and all of a sudden it’s all BS? Have we already forgotten how Davis, MKG, and Teague were playing at year’s end last year? If we’d had another veteran or 2 on this team, Archie and Poythress might have developed a little more smoothly.

@17 Yes but the incoming group next year are freshmen too and what if they are slow to pick up like the correct bunch? Wiggins is a rare gem among the freshmen just like AD and MKG were. That is why I am rooting for Wiggins.

We need to get the four on the west in the game with Gordon. After that no way he goes anywhere else.

Looks like next year could be allot of fun. Hopefully a few of the freshman from this year stay around and let the new recruits develop as most freshman need too. The fans are way to hard on this year’s team. We have been spoiled by some extraordinary talent since Cal arrived. Go Cats!

It’s not only that we got 5 with 1 more possible( I don’t think we get 2 regardless of who the 1 is.) it’s look at how many of those kids wanted UK to seriously recruit them and Cal didn’t give them a real look!
We’ve come along way from the tubby days as 20 said. It used to be we watched the game and bitched how we had 1 if any now we have some complaining when we get 5! Just as everyone has always said about 10% of our fan base are whiners who can’t be satisfied. Saying Cal is playing lesser players so he will lose. geez some people!

Oh good, a chemistry building opportunity! The Jordan Brand Classic also has 4 UK guys on one team, with the split up of the Harrisons, so the guys should get plenty of time to play together. Glad it isn’t the same guy split from the rest of the crowd both times. Dakari will at least get the Jordan Brand Classic to play with his future brothers. Part of the chemistry of last year’s team was built over the summer.

Not sure I would count out that east team just yet. There is a ton of size and length on the east side, plus the best amateur player in the world.
