Rashad Vaughn “trims” list to eleven, Quentin Snider opens recruitment

twolv 'shoot out'

2014 shooting guard Rashad Vaughn has trimmed his list from thirteen to eleven, and the Cats made the cut, along with Baylor, Iowa State, North Carolina, UConn, Kansas, UNLV, Arizona, GeorgeTown, UCLA, and Minnesota.

Vaughn is considered the seventh best player in the 2014 class by Rivals, and the eleventh best by ESPN.

On another recruiting note, 2014 guard Quentin Snyder is opening up his recruitment. Snyder, considered the 31st best player in the 2014 class by Rivals, was committed to Louisville. He tweeted this moments ago: “I’d love to be a card but at this time it’s time I think it’s better to look at other options to make sure it’s right fit.”

I’m assuming announcing that he has trimmed the list from 13 to 11 is really just a polite way to let two schools know they’re out of the process. Otherwise just wait until it’s 5 at most.

Not saying the NCAA will do anything to UNC, (which most likely they won’t)but, RV might want to cut them from his list….just saying!

Who are the other schools Snider is looking at? He seems like too nice of a guy to have RickyP curse at him for 4 years.

L1C4: Cal wouldn’t even recruit Snyder. He’d be behind Mudiay, Jones and Perkins. You’re really reaching here.

#14 – that was before out of respect to his buddy Pitino. Now that he has decommitted, I’m sure Snyder will get a call.

I saw Snyder play against the Twins last year and he gave them all they could handle. I’m not saying that he is better than them, but he’s going to be one hell of a player for the Cards AND he’ll be there at least two years.

UL has about 15 guards is the reason.

@16 he’ll be there 2-3 years because he won’t have the option to go pro before then. Pitino doesn’t exactly have a history of guard development.

16 He is not anywhere close to the Harrisons and he isnt going to UL…he wants to play for a coach that can develop players into NBA prospects
