Randall Cobb – Your NFL Rookie of the Week

Randall Cobb

At the beginning of this week, we implored you guys to vote for Randall Cobb in a an online poll to win this award.  Sure, a couple other guys had big weeks, as well, but how could anyone ever doubt you guys?  Big Blue Nation never fails at one thing – dominating anything college related on the internet.  And this time it was duly deserved…Randall Cobb has been named the NFL Rookie of the Week.

Suck it, Cam Newton.  We don’t care about your ridiculously high-yardage week 2 performance either.

Randall didn’t have as amazing game this time around, though.  Cam and Randall actually faced off against each other.  After Carolina’s first score, Cobb fumbled the return and gave the ball right back to the Panthers.  That’s okay, though.  The Packers still got the W.  Randall’s stat line ended up 2 rec, 25 yds…2 kick off returns, 24 yd avg…1 lost fumble.

Congratulations, and keep up the great work.  And…uh, so…Randall, is there any way you can come back for your senior year now?  We need you, buddy.

Without Cobb, lowly Kragthrope and the Tards likely beat us 2 out of 3.

Thank God he didn’t have to suffer with another year of Joker’s tutelage. His marketability would have diminished immensely.

I like how looking through the comments on that page no one there realizes it was BBN, not Packers or Carolina fans that made the difference!!
