Colts desperately need a player like Cobb. They haven’t had a KR/PR in the last 20 years. And they could throw him in the slot … Austin Collie is likely done in the NFL. This would be a perfect pick-up by a front office known for smart draft moves.

Good for Cobb. I hope he has a long and great NFL career. I wouldn’t stick around if I were him either with a coach who doesn’t make him a focal point very often…and when he does, it is usually when the game is already decided.

Great kid. Great player. On the other hand these “fans” that continue to cry that the sky is falling are really sad. Football teams don’t improve overnight and neither do they fall apart overnight. Its a process. A player leaving early to the pros is not a bad thing when it comes to recruiting.
Put a few more kids in the league and the recruits will come. All the rest of y’all need to calm down.

Not surprised… can’t expect him to stick around when everyone is saying he’s at his ceiling AND he would have a new QB next year. Best wishes to him and hope he tears it up in the NFL.

Not buying into the ‘sky is falling crowd’. I felt we were going to struggle this year because of our youth/lack of depth on defense and that should be better next year. Offense will be fine under Joker/Sanders. May not have the higher flying offense, but hopefully won’t need it with a better defense.

As a Redskin fan I would love to see him end up there. Seeing as how they have a decent defense but no offensive weapons…at all!
As far as the Cats, Cobb is our best player since Couch but one guy can only do so much. With him next year we win 5 games, without him we win 4. This was the best choice for him and I hope he tears it up at the next level.

    44) The offense carried the team this year and allowed us to outscore several teams. The defense didn’t help, allowing other players to look like Heisman candidates while running over and through our line. I didn’t see anything throughout the entire season that showed any improvement there so don’t expect much better next season. Without the offense being able to put up as many points we’re going to lose and lose a lot, especially if our leading tackler Trevathan leaves and I expect him to follow Randall out the door.

Not sure how anyone can criticize this kid when you take his career as a whole. How many positions did he play? How many times did he score regardless of blocking or play-calling. How many times did he make you bounce out of your seat? How many games did he start? This kid is a UK Legend and one of the most entertaining players we have or will ever watch. Thank him and move on. We still have talent on this team. Its up to Joker to do something with it. If he cant, he will be dealt with. But lets not act like we are headed back towards Bill Curry days.

He will be drafted by, The Pat’s, Ravens, Steelers, or maybe Colts. Teams like this always seem to find steals with there 2nd, 3rd and 4th picks in every draft, and it is plain and simple he may not be as fast, jump as high, or as physically gifted as some of the Florida Thugs, but he is an awesome FOOTBALL PLAYER. So i hope he shows everyone else in America what we have got to witness the last 3 years that if you put you heart and body on the line in the game of football, good thing can happen. Good Look Randall, and Thanks for All the memories you gave the BBN…….Peace………………..

#78 are you bout retarded? Too good for UK? He wasn’t even offered a scholarship to a down UT (His home state school) until the last minute. UK had faith in him when other schools wouldn’t give him a look… he worked his butt off to get where he is today. And he’s not leaving before Joker can screw him up… he’s leaving as his starting QB is graduating. That’s just a smart business decision. I think Newton will be fine, but he’ll still have the reigns fulltime for the first time next year, and that won’t elevate Cobb’s status. Has nothing to do with coaching.
