I spoke Saturday with Ramon’s mom about his situation. She said that everyone expects a full 100% recovery and that Ramon is doing very well right now, absent some stiffness. She said that the event as it happened was amazingly scary and talked in detail about how difficult the ambulance ride to the hospital was an emotional experience. But Ramon has responded well to all care and she said that he should be back to playing soon, although how soon is still up in the air.
She also wanted to express a thank you to all UK fans through Kentucky Sports Radio for the care and concern they have shown her son. She said she reads this site all the time and that she likes the “Razor” nickname we have given Ramon. Knowing that she will likely read this, if you have any notes for Ramon and his mother, feel free to leave them in the comment section.
And again, very good news that Ramon is well and back on track after a very scary situation.
