In case you haven’t been paying attention over the last couple of weeks, and if you haven’t, shame on you, the Big Blue’s very own Rajon Rondo has been the star of the playoffs. He stuffs the stat sheet every time he walks on the floor, and in a blowout win over the Magic last night he again f-ed around and got a triple-double, his third of the playoffs. Rondo even managed to squeeze in the thunderous dunk above, which will no doubt be “the time I threw down all over Dwight Howard” when Rajon tells his grandkids about it. For a Celtics team trying to survive without Kevin Garnett, the son of the Bluegrass has been a freakishly large steadying hand throughout the post season. (It didn’t hurt that Ray Allen was hitting shots from the owner’s box in the Chicago series, but this is a Kentucky blog so we’ll keep that our little secret, yes?)
Rondo and the C’s try to take Game 3 in Orlando tomorrow night at 7 on The WorldWide Leader in Sports. Be there. Chris Webber will.
