This isn’t really UK related but I think it’s still a very interesting story. PRP coach David Stinson was charged with reckless homicide after a 15-year old collapsed at practice and died in August. This was a story that has been developing for a few months and is pretty fascinating for the the precedent it could present when it comes to what is going “too far” when coaching high schoolers. As far as I know (and I am certainly no expert), this is the first time that a coach has ever been charged in the practice-related death of a player.
That’s pretty much it. I just thought it was interesting.
