We have more from Adam Zagoria today, who seems to always be talking to sources and scouts about Kentucky-related things. According to his latest blog post with SNY.tv, an NBA scout said teams should look into buying condos in Lexington next year. With commitments from the Harrison twins and one on the way from James Young, 2013-14 is setting up to be yet another magical season for Kentucky basketball.
“On paper, for an NBA-type class certainly it’s the greatest of all time, you would think,” the Director of Scouting told SNY.tv. “On paper it would be and yet there’s a lot to measure up to, too.”
That scout believes one of the twins could go first overall in the 2014 NBA Draft if Andrew Wiggins doesn’t reclassify.
A second NBA scout agrees.
“I think the Harrison twins are phenomenal. They’re the best high school guards I’ve seen. The twins already put it in the conversation for (Calipari’s) best class. And if he can round it out and get four or five of these elite players, I would say it’s his best class.”
Andrew Harrison, Aaron Harrison, James Young and then a combination of guys from the Wiggins, Randle, Gordon, Lee, Roberson pool — maybe it would be a good idea for NBA teams to set up shop in Lexington.
