I wonder how much of a factor the Refs are going to be today….

I found IU’s favorite quote and translated it so the homerism isn’t that noticeable. Enjoy.
“Hustle beats talent, when talent doesn’t hustle.” Translated – Our players aren’t very good but they try oh so very hard, so if you’re really talented and good players come in and fart around, expect a battle and we may win!

I am really pulling for Teague today. PG is difficult enough to learn and then execute but with the type of idiots IU has as fans screaming crap at him…just hope he gets thru it.

So I’ve always hated Duke. I’ve always hated Coach Sh*tdi*ksky. I am aware everyone knows they get calls everywhere, even away from home. I also know they aren’t this sportsmanlike team the media makes them out to be. But does anyone think Duke gets worse in worse in those regards I just stated every time they watch them? I really find myself so mad everytime I watch some of a Duke game. In other news, how about setting up a Xavier rivalry? No reason to hate the school and would get a quality opponent every matchup. Well coached and basketball smart kids. Yeah? Yeah?

@1 – I’m wondering the same thing. If there’s a lot of “home town officiating”, then I can see UK getting in trouble since they’re not very deep. If the refs call a fairly balanced game, then things certainly bode worse for IU. We’ll probably know early on…

    3) Xavier is a quality team, but if we’re going to lose North Carolina I would like to find a sexier matchup somewhere, such as Duke or Ohio State or UConn.

I hope Teague saw that IU fan tweet that he hopes Teague blows his knee out.

How awesome would a Teague dunk on Zeller’s face be?!!

Typical Big East finish to a ball game. Cincy gets thumped so they go thug off on Xavier. Classy, very classy.. They had to call the game with 9.4 seconds to play!!

Don'[t get no better than that.. =-)

It makes me sad that Miller may be the last kid from Kentucky who will be a starter on multiple teams. I really think that may be one area where Cal may not “get it”. I understand it is tempting when you can literally get 5 McDonald’s All Americans every year, but I would rather have a Darius Miller than his spot being taken by 4 different kids who left after their freshman year with all their best basketball ahead of them.

6…For a minute there, your 3 reference had me scratching my head.

11…Oh, he gets it. He just may not be able to please every person in BBN on every issue because some issues take priority over others. But…he certainly “gets it”.
