Prairie Dog will run with the 66ers

“With the 20th pick, in the 2010 NBA D-League Draft, the Tulsa 66ers select… Perry Stevenson from the University of Kentucky.”

Our man Perry Stevenson was selected with the fourth pick in the second round of the NBA D-League Draft last night by the Tulsa 66ers.  Stevenson will be joined in Tulsa by Scottie Reynolds of Villanova fame and Marion Jones, who may or may not be that fast chick who took a lot of steroids.

Also, we’ll be needing a table for one at the Erie O’Charley’s as Jared Carter was drafted in the sixth round by the Erie BayHawks.  Hold on… the Kentucky 7-footer love didn’t stop there… Shagari Allenye was drafted by the Austin Toros late in the seventh.  Allenye will be a great fit in new head coach Brad Jones’ 3-2 Hi-Lo offense.  I can’t think of a better system for Skyscraper to be in than in Austin.

Other notable selections:

Chris Lofton (Tennessee) – Iowa Energy (Round 1, Pick 6)
Jerry Smith (Louisville) – Springfield Armor (Round 5, Pick 5)
JaJuan Smith (Tennessee) – Maine Red Claws (Round 6, Pick 14)
Bobby Maze (Tennessee) – Iowa Energy (Round 7, Pick 6)
Scooter McFadgon (Tennessee) – Austin Toros (Round 8, Pick 3)
