Podcast From The Crossroad Is Up

Come come eager listeners, your favorite group of windbags are back! It’s been a spotty season so far, but we’re hoping to gain some consistency from this point forward. We recorded this one Saturday night at The Crossroad on Southland, a new sports bar/restaurant that we are officially big fans of. I want to thank them again for letting us use their place, and of course for the excellent food and service they provided. For real, go check it out, the place is legit – we hope to be back soon.
Check out the podcast below – or subscribe on iTunes, as it should be good to go there too.
We hit on:
-The waitress, among other things like…
-Jerry Tipton being an old curmudgeon (and sorry BTI, we still don’t like him,)
-Not Jerry Tipton’s glorious debut and those of you who still haven’t quite gotten the joke,
-The big Cats win, the Florida loss, and whether the team will go 2-0 or 1-1 this week,
-The big developments between Jim Gray’s ‘task force,’ John Calipari and the University of Kentucky,
-The exact definition of a facebook ‘poke,’
-What a return to Ole Miss means to the University of Jodie Meeks.
If you like classic KSR, you’re certain to like this podcast.

All I have to say, and it has nothing to do with this post…..the Big East is so freakin overrated its pathetic
No offense because I love you guys but does anyone else realize that there are more Duke graduates in that picture than UK graduates?
2) I’m with you. I wonder if Matt and Jay have a “secret handshake” being Duke Law grads ? Just kidding. I was elated to read Jay’s comments on the Kanter decision as he was dead on. Yep, that picture is a mass of humanity.
What is worst to watch?
Big East Basketball
Big Ten Football
Watching paint dry
#2 Does it matter where they are from or who they cheer for?
#5 only if you tell me that you dont root for the Patriots but do root for the Celtics.
Current KSR writer says, and I quote, “Tipton is a curmudgeon, should be fired, and you aren’t a UK fan unless you hate him”. Full post tomorrow at 10AM.
so bad he doesnt flush toliets, he scares the shit out of them
Bilingual?? I wonder what really was said.
So by now everybody knows that UK ended up at #10 in this weeks AP poll. But I’d never seen the breakdown of where each individual voter ranked UK. One person voted for UK in the #5 spot and one person voted for them in the #14 spot. All of the remaining votes were somewhere in between including 5 people who ranked them @ #13. Guess who one of those five people was…

#10 Would Tipton’s vote be considered a statistical outlier? Of course we just know him locally as an out and out lier.
