Pitino Rode Orb to Victory- According to The Daily Beast

The screenshots speak for themselves. Thanks to @merinth17 for the tip.

Which is worse, The Daily Beast thinking Pitino was the jockey, or the phrases describing Pitino as “the hottest jockey in America” and “glowing [and] mud-covered”?

Rick Pitino the hottest jockey in america.. hahhaha
I can’t imagine someone screwed up that bad, my guess is that Ricky is secretly an editor for the daily beast
We definitely need a photoshop expert (Drew…hint…hint) to put a KSR picture with these. That will be absolute gold!!!
Well, to win the derby, a horse and jockey has to last about two minutes. That leaves Pitino about 1:45 short.
G-O-L-D!!!! Can’t stop laughing.
Still rolling on the floor at that! Pitino the hottest jockey in America!!! Hilarious!
They just messed up on the horse’s name: Golden Sypher, as the track announcer said “Down the stretch, er…uh… leg he comes.”
“Pitino rode Sypher to Jail”
He likes to ride, per past practice
Now Rick can get a tattoo of a horse’s as- tonishing profile.
Not the worst looking hag he has ridden in Louisville…
Not the 1st time I went B Arnold.
In the world of the internet, got love the fact checking.
Post early and often. like a election in chicago back in the day
I hate Derby talk but wow that is funny! Still not UK sports though!!
Did anyone see that tweet from @jamesbarry about Pitino? It is over played but perfect timing was there. It was also live on WAVE 3.

Being a life-long Kentuckian, I appreciate the coverage of the Derby. Being a life-long UK fan, I can’t stop laughing at this post. Hilarious! Keep up the great work!
Oh…it said he was the jockey of a horse. We all knew he rode a whore and sprayed her down.
Well, it does look like the jockey is humping the back of that horse, so it stands to reason they would think it was Pitino on board.
Wow, and people actually get paid for such ignorant mistakes!!
Wait, people think “The Daily Beast” is a reputable news source?
Heck, Rick Pitino is so well known, the CNN anchor yesterday morning called him Rick PINTO, not once, not twice, but three times yesterday morning.
