Photos from this morning’s delivery from Kansas

The state of Kansas sent over 440 steak burgers this morning to feed homeless men and women at the Hope Center in Lexington. As you can see in the photo above, Gov. Steve Beshear volunteered his expertise in preparing the food that he won in a bet on the NCAA title game with Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback.
It looks like Gov. Beshear and the crew got creative with the Kansas steak burgers:

That’s cool. Hope the Gov. returns the favor.
Very, Very, Nice. (Some right wing political moron chimes in witha geo-political line of B.S. in,,3,,,,2,,,,,1,,,)
1) It was a bet… there is no return favor.
1)”Houston we have a problem” so you’re saying that you “hope we return the favor” by losing to Kansas and losing the bet? I hope not.
2- it is jerks like you that obsess. I seriously doubt anyone but you could find something bad about this. Moron.
2) Isn’t “some right wing political moron” an oxymoron, much the same as a “liberal with common sense and the ability to reason” is an oxymoron.
Looks like they are standing pretty far from the grill, I wonder if that burger meat they sent is overly greasy? At least we made the burgers look respectable with the UK burger molds.
Has anyone mentioned the amount of scholarships we will have for the 2013 class? Say, Noel leaves along side Hood and Twany graduating. . . If we sign one more player in 2012 that will not be a one-and-done(please let it be Jefferson), then we will only have 4 scholarships in (the loaded) 2013 class available because we signed Willis, right?
8) Bad news- Hood and Twanaaaaaaay aren’t graduating because their juniors not seniors.
I know it was a bet but it’d be good of him to still send the Kentucky hams.
#4 Yeah, that’s exactly what I want. You should be a mind reader.
8) Not to mention that Alex Poythress or Archie Goodwin staying at least 2 years would be great. They don’t have the hype of AD or Flat-Top feller, but I think they’re going to do great in Cal’s system. I’ll break it down for you- And this is strictly speculation on most of this, but here goes:
2013-2014 UK Men’s Basketball Scolorships (13)
1. Ryan Harrow- First PG under Calipari in over 5 years who doesn’t leave after his first full season
2. Alex Poythress
3. Archie Goodwin- Poythress or Goodwin or both may leave, but lets say they both come back for the worst-case scholarship aspect.
4. Jon Hood- May be a transfer if he sees little to no playing time this year.
5. Twany Beckham & Jared Polson- May not get scholarships
6. Derick Willis (2013)
7. Willie Cauley-Stein
8. Mystery player from 2012 recruiting class- even if it’s Jefferson, he aint leaving after 1 year.
9. Kyle Wiltjer- ???? Questionable- May or may not return depending on how much he shows improvement
10. 2013
11. 2013
12. 2013
13. 2013
That’s it! A 5 Player Class- Right now 8 of the top 10 recruits list UK as a favorite, including the Harrison twins, who you take as a package deal(one helluva package). If they can get 4 of the top 10 players, that’s NEVER been done before, and I think they would begin the season as the favorite to win the NC, especially if either Poythress/Goodwin or both come back for round 2.
I’m not 100% sure Twany is on scholarship either- I may be wrong, but he and Polson are more like preferred walk-ons that Cal has decided to give scholarships to- so far. If they have a shot at getting 5-6 top 15 players in 2013, I think they both can be considered walk-ons. I think everyone would rather avoid that situation altogether though.

That smiley face is an 8 with a close parenthasis sign after it. I was wondering why it was making those. lol

Actually, if Cal would have been in charge of this he would have had the Governor setup in downtown Lexington and sold National Championship Burgers for $50 a piece and they could have fed a lot more homeless. ๐

I make faces..hehe! ๐ 8) ๐
are you seriously debating scholarships like you have any say or input on it. Cal is paid well to figure this out as I am sure he will.
22) Not debating anything. Someone asked a question so I’m explaining the scholarship situation for 2013 as I understand it. See anything you disagree with? If so, feel free to comment with something more helpful (like a few smiley faces). Of course Calipari will figure it out. No one suggested otherwise.
Fact is Greg, that Cal might have a chance to make make modern day history by nabbing 4 or 5 of the top 10 players in America in 2013. If he has available scholarships, maybe more, so that makes people very interested in how may might be available. It’s fun. What’s your take?
IN CAL WE TRUST!! GO CATS!!

Ok, where do you get the UK burger mold?
Also, no way is Cal going to not take a Julius Randle-Tony Williams because Jon Freakin’ Hood is still on scholly.
Kudo’s to Kansas Gov, I have respect for him……… but i still hate KU when UK plays them….
#11 when are UK fans going to realize that Hood are Rollin on Twanys are not very good and will never play. If we use them, that means our team is in real trouble. All we can hope is they leave at the end of this year. All they do is waste space on our bench. We need and want talented players that can contribute to wining, that is definitely not those two
