Perry Ellis trims his list to four

The man that Kentucky hopes to pull out of the state of Kansas trimmed his list to a final four schools Thursday night and the Cats seem to have made at least a little progress in their ultimate goal.  They’re the only team outside of the state to make the list.  Ellis’ mother sent out an email to the media announcing that her son would now consider Kansas, Kansas State, Wichita State and Kentucky, leaving Duke, who was all over him during the evaluation period, noticeably absent.  Kentucky continues to feel good about their chances with the player now rated by Rivals as the 19th overall player in the country and this announcement tonight is an indication that things appear to be headed in the right direction.

That should make Kansas feel pretty good about themselves. The only way they have a shot at a player we are looking at is if he is in their home state.

Much rather have Bennet, Poythress, or Ashley at the 4 spot.

Ellis is a solid player, who does everything well, and could be a good 4-year player at UK, but i think we may miss out on some much better players like Mitch McGary,Brandon Ashley, or Anthony Bennett if he commits early. I still trust Cal thought to bring in the best guys, so, I’m not worried

I wonder why he has dropped so much in the rankings.

3 schools in Kansas and us? Not liking our chances of getting him outta there.
