Look, we understand that the vast majority of Louisville journalists are complete lap dogs for Tom Jurich and Louisville. We get that. And more specifically, we know that a group that includes Pat Forde and Rick Bozich are so close to the Louisville PR machine that they almost certainly have to be on the Cardinal payroll. But we do expect that even as they give propaganda to all things Cardinals, they will at least get their facts straight. But alas, Rick “Paula Deen” Bozich gave us this one today:

Being correct has never been of true importance to our friend Rick, but I would have thought after being corrected many times, he would have altered his comment. But alas no. Bozich is still Bozich and facts are truly optional. The man who said that John Calipari had “Pitino Envy” (right before he won a national title) clearly has lost his sports chops…but at least he is still able to whip up a nice souffle.

So I did some fact-checking, which apparently Bozich failed to do. It turns out UK beat Arkansas in 2008, and that was Petrino’s 1st year there.

The thing I respect about Matt is the fact he isn’t afraid to call out media scum like Bozo and Forde. You will never hear of either of them calling out the other and it has nothing to do with morals since they aren’t afraid to slam any coach or player (since there are no repercussions). Most media people act as if they are so tough but say one think about them like they do others and see what happens.
