Patrick Patterson wants to compete in the 3-Point Contest or the Dunk Contest or the Skills Challenge

It’s never too early to beg for All-Star votes, according to Patrick Patterson. The former Kentucky Wildcat posted a video online asking fans to vote him into the 2013 Foot Locker Three-Point Challenge in Houston this season. The timing of the video is odd considering the ballot is still months away.

Patrick is hoping his contract with PEAK Sport will bring out Chinese supporters when it’s time to vote. If it works, he’ll have two of the world’s biggest nations, China and Big Blue, behind him.

I like that he said Kentucky first, even before the Rockets, with whom he has been with longer.

Jesus please vote for him guys. If not I am afraid he might end up in the tub with a hairdryer still plugged in. I love some P-Patt but when I heard him begging for china I lost a little respect lol. He named every category like “please if not that then this” just stop.

I have always liked Patrick, but the man can’t shoot 3’s, is not a prolific dunker, and is certainly not All Star material. I do vote that he gets to attend the All Star game though.

Yep, just redo the video in Peak gear then send it to China to remind them you once was on the same team as Yao. Should get you enough considering Yao would be out all season and still make the all-star team.

Maybe he has spent the off season working on his 3s and has significantly improved.

Wow, how quickly they forget. You guys do remember how great P-Pat (or my favorite nickname of all time, Black Kool-Aid) was when he was at UK. How he came here when no one else would during the dark years and stayed. How he LOVED UK and the fans as much or more than anyone in recent memory? I think we can suppost him in this tiny request of his without the complaints.

Pat’s face looks much different since he has gone. Looks slimmer.
