How much does Louisville have to pay to make this transition? I’m a student and I want to know impact tuition or student ticket prices for the now good conference schedule. (I am a UK fan and do not like Louisville)

I think the first order of business for Coach Stoops should be to reach out to Ryan Timmons at Franklin County High School in Frankfort, Ky and James Quick at Trinity. They are both in state playmakers who could really have an impact on this new UK team.
5, Tuition going up isn’t a problem for me since it’s on their dime, but I am really hoping student ticket prices will hold steady due to the higher revenue produced just by being part of the ACC

Looking at his resume, I’m excited to see how often he’s been a defensive backs coach. Kentucky has a recent history of having good linebackers, but our defensive backs have always been atrocious. Time for that to change.

#26, I think most people will agree that UF has progressed and improved considerably since they played UK early in the season. Besides, UF / Fl St is a huge rivalry game. You can bet that Florida will get much more hyped for Fl St than they would UK. Apples and oranges comparison, IMO.
I was surpised to find out from my friends in NC and GA that our perception nationally is that we have a bad football program, but also that we are a very rich Athletic Dept with the potential to become a strong football program. I don’t think our own fans believed that.

66- Coley is kindof a combination between a Pro Style offense and the spread. HE is all about getting the ball in playmakers hands in space… He will a lot of times go 5-wide, to run the ball and then line up in a strong set I-Formation and run a play action fake. He generally likes a dual threat QB but it will be interesting to see how Towles will shape his offense.
Serious question….does the ACC places that serve alcohol serve Crown Royal? If not there could be riots when Louisville comes to town!

That is a coaching staff EVERYONE in the SEC has to take seriously. James Coley is a GREAT RECRUITER from Miami, Stoops has many ties in Florida, and Randy Shannon is a big NFL name that really has contacts in Florida and the south as well as Texas now that he is the LB Coach at TCU.
I’m glad little brother finally found a conference that would take them. They were at the point they would have listened to the Ivy league!
Rumour has it 2 stipulations the ACC put forth is they have to lose “L1C4”, and line beards. Too lame for ACC Game.

53, I’ve lived in AL since 1984, and there were a ton of AL fans who were NEVER going to accept Curry, mostly because he wasn’t beating Auburn. Even if he had beaten them, many of those same fans would have never accepted him.
A lot of AL fans have had this thing that only a former Bama player could be the coach because only THEY understand Bama football. I think that has changed slightly since the arrival of Saban! lol

I love UK football and I think it was great hire. What did Barnhart do to get this hire? It sounds to me like Mark Stoops landed in his lap rather than Mitch hiring him, I just can’t believe KSR is giving Mitch all of this credit. (I’m not a Mitch fan, can’t stand him at all. Billy G was a horrible hire and it turns out Joker was too, Cal wanted the UK job and got it- Stoops wanted the UK fooball job and got it.
