— First and foremost, UK Hoops will face Oklahoma tonight at 9:07ish on ESPN for a spot in the Final Four. You will watch this game and cheer for the Cats. I don’t care if you had other plans. This is priority. Go Hoops.
— Jeff Goodman is reporting via Twitter that Billy G leads a list of candidates at Houston that also includes James Dickey, Rodney Terry (UT) and Chris Walker (Villanova). Let’s all hope our former coach lands back on his feet in Houston. He’ll fit right in with the Cougars.
— According to Jody Demling, Brandon Knight slipped up and said “we” when referring to Kentucky. He also dropped this gem in response to Demling’s question about other schools: “UConn, they have a great coach. You know coach Boeheim will put you in a position to succeed.” Whoops.
— Josh Selby told Rivals.com that he might visit UK next weekend. Selby also said he and Knight could play in the same backcourt at Kentucky. Before you start burning couches and opening that Coach Cal Maker’s bottle in celebration, Selby also said “Kansas is like another home to me.” Selby will announce his decision on April 17.
