One Year Ago Today…

Kentucky defeated the Drexel Dragons 88-44 in one of the first games that really showcased the talent of last year’s Draft Cats.  We saw outstanding performances from nearly every player, including 18 points from both Patrick Patterson and Demarcus Cousins and a behind the back layup from John Wall.  The game was a rout from start to finish as Kentucky moved to 12-0 on the season.

Oh yeah, it was the program’s 2000th win, too.

So wear your UK2K shirt proudly to work today (don’t act like you don’t own one) and remind your co-workers of the milestone.  And if you want to really relive that memorable evening in Rupp Arena, throw some confetti around the office and errybody do the John Wall.
