Kentucky Sports Radio

University of Kentucky Basketball, Football, and Recruiting news brought to you in the most ridiculous manner possible.

Oh my Gah! Do you know what’s happenin’ in Hoov-ah?

That was my attempt to re-create the hot, obnoxious chicks from Two-a-Days. How’d it go? Didn’t pick up on it? Yeah, it’s difficult to put obscure voices into text. Sorry. A picture would’ve helped, too. However, I am unable to paste pictures for whatever reason right now.

Anyway, UK will be in action tonight against the Alabama Crimson Tide. Again, we are forced to play a team in their home state in the first round…that ain’t fair. Since the second game just went final, I predict Kentucky’s start time to be somewhere around 10:30–if not much later. Tune into CSS for all the live coverage. Oh, you don’t get CSS? Then go to BW3’s or something.

There have already been some fireworks in Hoover, as LSU had a thrilling walk-off win over USC earlier today in 10 innings. LSU trailed 4-0 entering the bottom of the ninth, but a Matt Clark 3-run homer began their rally. LSU manager Paul Mainieri described Clark’s swing as “one of the best he’s ever witnessed.” That’s a pretty bold statement. Unless, of course, the ball went 800 ft. Some other dude ended the game with a bomb in the tenth.

So, cool stuff is happening. Watch, or listen online. Furthermore, the Cats placed four players on the All-SEC first team: Sawyer Carroll, Ryan Wilkes, Collin Cowgill, and Chris Rusin.
