Kentucky Sports Radio

University of Kentucky Basketball, Football, and Recruiting news brought to you in the most ridiculous manner possible.

Oh, hey there, Adrian Middleton

middleton

Lost in all the Matt Elam excitement last night was a 247 Sports rankings climb from Adrian Middleton, another talented in-state defensive lineman who has already committed to Kentucky. Middleton jumped up to the 36th best defensive tackle in the country and Kentucky’s fourth best commit, according to 247. His new 89 overall rating is one point shy of earning him a fourth star beside his name.

The new rating seems a bit high in comparison to the other recruiting services but, hey, we’ll take it.

Go Cats.

The new rating seems a bit high in comparison to the other recruiting services but, hey, we’ll take it — you could say the same thing about Elam….. Bejance!!!

247 rankings suck…not taking anything away from Middleton though…

Well ESPN gave him a ranking of like a 78, which is close to a 4* on their site which needs an 80 to get. Scout ranks him a top 40 DT, rivals is the only one not thinking highly of him. Maybe because he can play both DE and DT.

#4 – Heck Yeah. Stoops has way less to sell than Cal and he is getting it done. Never in my life I would have expected this with UK football.

    6. You better take that back. That’s premium information you’re leaking right there. On a more serious note, sounds like it would be a good pick up for the Cats.

Middleton is a good get for KY — a high character kid —

I am from Bowling Green. Have watched the kid play several times. He plays hard, takes no plays off. Will be a very good one. South Warren just started up the football program a few years ago, he lead a great defense to a 9-4 record. Very solid young man off the field.

I thought this kid was originally underrated. He has the frame to support his ranking. He also seems like a great kid.
