No open practice in Louisville tomorrow

uk-freedom-hall
Hello, old friend.

A few news bits on this lazy New Year’s Day:

— Cal announced that the team will not hold an open practice tomorrow in Louisville, but will stay thirty minutes after the Arkansas-Little Rock game on Tuesday night to sign autographs.

— Tickets are still available for Tuesday night’s game for $35 on Ticketmaster.

— If you haven’t seen this time-lapse video of Rupp Arena from yesterday yet, go check it out. It’s totally worth it.

Not to change the subject, but watching N. Orleans and Carolina, They call a horse collar tackle in Newtons favor and player only grabs his jersey. Why don’t they just give up calling it a full ontact sport and form a flag football league? With the rules the way they are today most of the former great defensive players wouldn’t stand a chance !

THe cool part of this video is watching the crowd, up and down, when something exciting happens and the fans leave their seats!

Open practices are fun for the fans but not that productive for team preperation for upcoming opponents. No worries here that they aren’t having the open practice.

Nothing bud nose bleed from the worst angles. I would take my chances with the scalpers.

Practice is there to create perfection. We do not need to see them practice just hang banners.

Bigcat4453… take a good long look at the inside of that Dome. That’s where we’re gonna win NUMBER EIGHT!!!!!

And, how perfect to beat the Tards and Rupp, and then paint Freedom Hall blue again. SWEET.

Confused me at first that it seems Louisville has only 4 players on the court during most of the time lapse. Then I remembered how hard it is to see Siva at normal speed, he’s clearly nearing the speed of light in that video.

This is a great chance for UK fans in the Jefferson county area to see a great team. This might be your best chance to see MKG and AD play live. Lets sell it out and they sell beer to boot.
