Things are different in Canada. Everyone walks around playing hockey, getting free health care and worshiping Alan Thicke. It is a place we really cant understand as their lack of NCAA basketball, high crime rates and Buzz Baker is simply too perplexing to fathom. But sometimes Canada rules can make life better, such as will apparently be the case this weekend during the UK exhibition games in Canada. For those three games, there will be no fouling out by any player, as the five foul limit that we play with in college basketball will not apply. This is a big advantage for UK, who enters Canada with only nine players and at least two (Terrence Jones and Doron Lamb) a bit hobbled with ankle sprains. Now the players can all still be aggressive and not worry about finding themselves on the bench for an entire half.
Somewhere Andre Riddick, Woo and Daniel Orton wish they had played college basketball in Canada….
