Nerlens still atop Chad Ford’s big board, Archie at No. 26

Draft guru Chad Ford updated his big board today for all the loyal, credit card-wielding readers over at ESPN.com. For $8.95 a month, you can read what Ford and other ESPN experts have to say. Or, I can tell you where he projects the Kentucky players to go.
Sitting atop Ford’s NBA draft prospect rankings is our boy Nerlens Noel. The worldwide leaders magical trade machine gives Noel an 84.8% chance of walking across the stage first, based on team needs and team odds in the draft lottery. Ford writes, “We project Noel to go No. 1 to the Magic, Bobcats, Cavaliers, Suns, Kings, Wizards, Raptors, 76ers and Mavericks. Those are pretty great odds.”
And on down the list from Nerlens is Mr. Inconsistent-In-Mock-Drafts, Archie Goodwin. Ford currently has Goodwin as the 26th-best prospect joining the league this summer, up a couple spots from where he was a few weeks ago.
NBADraft.net, on the other hand, still has its doubts with Archie; the website projects him going 37th to the Washington Wizards.
Go Cats.

Just thought you were treated a bit unfairly by those this morning complaining about your presentation on that rap group (I really don’t know who they are). But you’ve got a good track record of ethical use of the keyboard all these years. I can’t imagine you making fun of someone who just died. That is good enough for me. Keep up the good work.
sorry…please add a “D” as first letter of above post
In light of Texas A&M coming out today with their stadium renovation and expansion, are there any updates with ours?
Love when drew posts!!

Go Archie
#1) I read that this morning, and didn’t see how he was making fun of him in any way whatsoever. People are way too sensitive.
I’m still of the opinion that Archie is making a mistake by going pro, and I think he’ll wind up in Europe sooner rather than later. But, if he can develop his jump shot he could stick around in the NBA too. Best of luck to him.
