Nerlens reminds us he’ll always be a Wildcat

nerlens

Having a hard time saying goodbye to Nerlens Noel?  Me too.  It’s not easy seeing the flattop leave Kentucky, even when we know the NBA is the right move. Just know that Nerlens loves you and will always be a Wildcat.

They don’t make many guys like Nerlens Noel. The kid truly loves UK and BBN.

In the new Rivals ranking, Dakari is the #2 Center behind Chris Walker. Parker is down to 4th overall behind Wiggins, Randle, Gordon.

UL/IU fan demonstrating the value of studying English at those schools. Nerlens would be beloved for his community work if he was a walkon. He’ll get his degree too. Hope the new kids coming in study him.

Anyone, no matter how much they love the college experience, has to bolt for the NBA if they’re the projected #1 pick. Just think if he got injured again, then his draft stock would plummet. He’s making the right choice.

Good luck Flat Top Feller! To me he will be remembered most for the UK in the back of his head, the Charity work that made me cry a little, and the crazy dunk/jump over Auburn’s Frankie Sullivan.

I wish one of the KSR photo-shoppers would make a loop of that dunk, where it looks like he keeps pulling himself up and over that player. Plus I’d like to hear Fake Barney sing a song about him, preferably to the tune of Big Bad John. That song reminds me of Nerlens for some reason. I hear it in my head, but I don’t have half of Barney’s song talents.

12)I love how UK guys use the school as a stepping stone, yet the first chance Gorgui and Russ have to leave UL they are long gone, and thats as late first round/2nd round picks, and somehow that is different. Do you know how absurd that sounds? The only difference between the uk players who “use UK as a stepping stone!” and UL players who “Play for the jersey, not for themselves!!!” is talent.

The lone player on this team not from Kentucky who cared bout the fans, tradition, and what it meant to have that name on the front of his jersey. Best of luck Big Guy you will always be remembered and always a Wildcat.
