Nerlens Noel will make them pay

Nerlens Noel took a page from DeMarcus Cousins’ book when he watched a number of teams pass over him in tonight’s NBA Draft. Noel noticed, and likely won’t forget. Noel told USA Today that the teams that passed on him, “Oh yeah, I’m going to make them pay.”

You’ve been warned Cleveland, Orlando, Michael Jordan, etc.

Jordan GM is the inverse of Jordan the player. Picking Zeller over Noel? Noel could hurt both knees, and he’d be better than Zeller.

ESPN.com is now reporting Nerlens has been traded to Philadelphia.

Jordan no longer calls the shots, Richard Cho makes those type of decisions now. However it is worth noting that he is just as incompetent in regards to personnel and player decisions.

So what if some bad, bad teams passed on Nerlens? Especially Charlotte! At least Phillie has some tradition and the fan base will demand improvement, as opposed to Michael Jordan bootlickers.

He may be replaced on the court, but his minutes in hospitals and nursing homes are his best minutes, and they can’t be replaced. I am not huge fan of basketball (I’m slow, fat, and white), but I am a huge fan of this young man! I wish Nerlens the best and congratulate whatever city that ends up with him!

Impressive! UK has 2 players selected in the first round with Archie going to the Oklahoma City Thunder. Next year UK will have 15 first round picks…lol

Since Cal got here, 12 first round picks (13 if you count Kanter) and 4 second round picks. Averaging 4 draft picks a year. Unreal.

USA Today gave 2N the lowest grade (c-) of all the picks in the first round. I will never read USA Media again. They are not worthy.

No way Nerlens should have fallen this low. In a draft deplete of elite talent the smart move is to take the best talent available. There were no Labrons, Kobes, or Durants in tonight’s draft. Everyone of these players needs work or time to heal. So Nerlens would have been the right move unless you are really hurting for a PG. The good news is he will be going to a team whose ownership and management is not nearly as disfunctional as Cleveland or Charlotte. God help MKG!

Congrats Nerlens! You have always been a class act with a heart of gold and an incredibly hard worker. I have no doubt you’ll make those other teams pay. BBN will love watching it too!

Have you guys ever considered that maybe Noel isn’t as good as you guys think? You guys weren’t exactly burning up the rankings when he was healthy…
