Nerlens Noel visits a local nursing home

How awesome is this? Nerlens Noel paid a visit to a nursing home today. Sometimes, good-hearted gestures don’t get recognized like they should but it says a lot about Nerlens to take time out to visit the patients. It looks like they had a great time with the big man, especially the one that stole his hat swag.

Who cares – HOOSIERS win soccer national title and it won’t be vacated in 3 years!

I want you to imagine the life of HOO up there at #1. Here he is on a Sunday, with no life, no loved ones to fill his time with. Just sits around stewing and wondering what those gosh dang cayut fans are up to. Constantly refreshes KSR as he mumbles to himself something about Worldwide Wes as he spills more cheeto crumbs on his most recently purchased national champions shirt that is older than most of the writers on this site. And as IU is coming off of a scandal that put them on probation and cost them their coach, he tries to talk trash. What a sad and meaningless existence. I honestly could not even name an IU site off the top of my head and this is what he does with his Sunday. Sucks to suck

Nice of Noel to do this, but shouldn’t he be in the gym working on his free throws, rebounding, and post moves.

Noel seemss to be one fine young man. And how about the way Archie handled himself after what I consider a nice game yesterday? No showing anyone up, etc. Just hang tight with these guys. They are going to get better and better, and the guys from this bunch who stay for next year are in for a real treat, ala 2012.

He also made a visit to the Richmond bars, along with others, last night. Must have felt a little guilty after entering premises as a minor.

Nerlens is the type of young man Cal attracts to UK; He recruits character as much as basketball talent. Thank you, Nerlens!

This makes me so happy. I think it’s awesome that we get such big ballets every year and they all have the best/nicest personality. Way to go Coach Cal 🙂

Typically not one to speak out against the academics of UK athletics, but does anyone else find it strange that when every other UK student is in a library studying for finals today that we find Noel in a nursing home doing charity?

10- agreed, Archie played great for the most part very under control… Actually kind of looked like a PG, great to see progress from harrow too. “We’re not very good right now, but I still like my team”

As a individual who is trying his best to keep his Mom from living in a ugly corporate profit driven nursing home, these pictures rock! Profit driven nursing homes suck! My compliments go to Mr. Nerlens Noel for his class act.

Nerlens is showing leadership on and off the floor. BBN should be very proud of him. With his work eithic, the sky is the limit as he works to improve his game.
