Nerlens named a finalist for the Wayman Tisdale Award

Despite missing the rest of the season with a torn ACL, Nerlens Noel has been named one of the eight finalists for the Wayman Tisdale Award, presented to college basketball’s top freshman.

The winner of the award will be announced on Friday, April 5.

    As much as I’d like to see Nerlens win it, I just don’t see it happening after he went down with an injury 🙁

    McLemore is a redshirt freshmen, everyone acts like he walked in from high school and started leading the team.

    Ben McLemore wasnt eligible last year for Kansas until second semester, the kid did not play a college game until this year.
