NCAA Tournament Bracket

(h/t CBSSports.com)

A couple of questions to ponder amongst yourselves…

1) Who will be in your final 4?

2) Which upsets are you predicting?

3) Which region is the hardest/easiest?

A bit too soon for me to look intently at the NCAA bracket. I need to let this sting wear off some.

What makes it worse is Lou-a-vul is the top seed and will most likely win it all…and we are in the NIT…I would rather decline invite and re-group for next year…does any fan in his/her right mind want to watch this terrible team play another minute?

Just don’t watch the POS tournament this year and let their ratings suffer.

Actually, in all fairness, this MAY be a very entertaining tournament because so many “good” teams kinda suck and could easily be upset. I’m still not very motivated to watch it, though.

I don’t know if y’all watched the Bluegrass Kingdom on truTv, but u should. All I can say is I miss Kidd-Gilchrist. That kid is the epitome of a UK basketball player and the kind of kid that belongs here. I’m so grateful that he chose UK and we were able to watch him become the great man he is today. He will always be a CAT. Go Big Blue!!!!!!!

I know this has nothing to do with this post, but watching this made me feel better after watching this team suck it up all year.

    Who freaking cares.
    Are you kidding?
Why should we give a freak who is in or who’ll win. We aren’t in. And that’s all that matters.

There should be no more of this site, it should shut down, till next year. Take the team out to the firing squad and shoot them in the head. And let the coping begin.

I’ve never seen ‘Quit’ like this years team. Sad and inexcusable.

Aren’t the odds of 2 #1/#1 seeds winning consecutively pretty slim? Well, that’s what I’m going with anyway.
Miami for the win. Maybe New Mexico. I’m definitely behind Duke long enough to send UL home.

Just glancing over the brackets, UL has a pretty easy bracket. Aside from Duke (who they already played) and MSU no teams that should pose a real threat. They will probably be sweating a repeat of 2008, when they celebrated too early and got whacked by MSU.

I’m hoping for a final four packed with Cinderellas that have never been there before. I’m kind of “meh” about watching it, but I guess I could just root for the underdog to pull some big upsets.

I think it’s funny you act like Kidd-gilchrist gives a shit about Kentucky fans. You act like he’s part of the fabric of the university or something. Christ, he was there less than a calandar year. And I’m pretty sure he wasn’t exactly busting his ass in Socialogy during the spring semester since he was about 5 months from getting a life-altering paycheck. So he went to class a semester at most, then just practice and games, then he left. And not a knock on him, he’s great. But if any of you think he gives a shit about you, youre wrong. He’s gonna act like it and say the right things cause it makes him look good, and makes NBA GMs say “aw, he appreciates where he came from” but I know more about campus life there than he does. Now, flame away about how I wouldn’t know shit about college (sorry, but I have a bachelor’s degree). And I plow my sister and mom and am on welfare and have no teeth. Blah blah, it’s predictable and lame. Yeah, I just went 8-Mile on that ass. That’s called a homage. Or a cultural reference. And not a very good one, but either way, it’s words you guys don’t know.

    13-right on

    Perspective:

A majority of the nation’s 5-star freshmen are above average to ok and UK’s are similar :
Nerlens 11pts/10rb/gm;Shabazz 18pts/5rb/gm; Kyle Anderson 10pts/9rb;Isaiah Austin 13/9; Steven Adams 7/6; Anthony Bennett 16/8; Alex Poythress 11/6; Kaleb Tarczewski 6/6; Marcus Smart 15/6; Glenn Robinson III 11/5; Rodney Purvis 9/2; Sam Dekker 10/3; Archie Goodwin 14/5; Grant Jerrett 5/4; Kris Dunn 5/5; TJ Warren 12/4; Rasheed Sulaimon 12/3; Yogi Ferrell 8/3; Danuel House 12/5; Winston Shepard 6/4; Devonta Pollard 4/3; Brandon Ashley 8/5; Perry Ellis (14min/gm)6/4; Gary Harris 12/2
Compare that to Patric Young whose freshman year was 17min/gm, 3pts/4rbs; soph 10/6; jr 11/6
The “blame” doesn’t go to our frosh offensive production. As a team UK avg 73 pts/gm to FL’s 72. It was overall DEFENSE.

Last years frosh had alot of benefits: deeper bench to compete against, some experienced returning players, NBA lockout for former players to return and gain experience from.

26} I’ve said same thing about Cal getting players to NBA. What he does is recruit NBA players. These guys would be there if they played at Robert Morris…John Wall, AD, MKG and so on. When Shabazz and Bennett get drafted high it will prolly be because Cal recruited them as he gets players to NBA. What has he done for Archie and Alex….They will get drafted because of their body and athletic ability. Both lack basketball skills like passing, dribbling, shooting and bball iq. None of these improved as season went on either which is what coaching should do.

Buck up people. We suck this year but we will be great next year. Enjoy the tourney.

Also don’t understand why people are so pissed. You should have been pissed on Friday and prepared for what happened today. We are the overall number 1 in the nit and didn’t even deserve that. We just weren’t a good team. We will get better. Countdown to madness.

Kentucky can still make it to the Final Four. Sure, their road there isn’t easy…and I know no one has made to the Final Four from the NIT, but let’s keep hope alive…
