NBA Cats square off

In the shadow of the college basketball season tipping off, the NBA game is in full swing. Two former Cats squared off against each other in a battle of cellar dwellers. New Orleans and Anthony Davis matched up against Charlotte and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist Friday night.

The Hornets won the game on the heels of Davis’ double-double with 23 points and 11 rebounds. The uni-blocker tacked five stuffs on to push New Orleans ahead of the Bobcats, 107-99.

Michael Kidd-Gilchrest led the Bobcats in scoring with 12 points. He added six boards and three blocks in 33 minutes.

The Hornets move to 3-2 on the young season, and the Bobcats fall to 1-3. Next up for Davis and the Hornets are Patrick Patterson and Terrence Jones in Houston.

search should be over…get the ULL coach. Now up 20-13 at UF with under 4 minutes left and they have been dominant with several qb sacks and just enough offense plus a blocked punt. Starting qb for UF is back but ULL keeps playing well. They still may lose but this has been a great game plan, something we have not had in 2 years.

UF just tied game with 1:42 left. ULL has no timeouts but has a great fg kicker. After kickoff ULL will start at their own 28 with 1:35 left.

ULL just ran ball till 13 seconds left. ULL punted and UF blocked kick and ran it back to take lead with 6 seconds left. Gaytors appear to have lucked one out.

There’s really no excuse for a KSR blogger to misspell “Gilchrist.”

It’s Gilchrist…..never can understand how people misspell players names. The name is on the jersey and pops up everytime they shoot a FT…

Miller plays for the Hornets too….he started the other night….

What does Miller have to do to get a shoutout? Start? Oh wait, he did that!
