Nazr Mohammed to Join the Chicago Bulls

According to ESPN, Nazr Mohammed will soon be joining Marquis Teague in Chicago with the Bulls organization. Mohammed spent last season with the Oklahoma City Thunder, though he saw only limited playing time. Mohammed was also the main reason behind the Thunder spending time training in Lexington during the lockout last summer. Best of luck to a former Wildcat who has had a successful and lengthy NBA career.

Mohammed had a few words for the OKC fans on Twitter, “I have to say a huge thank u to all the OKC fans. The support was unbelievable and y’all will always have a piece of my heart. #ThunderUp”

Yes, I’m an idiot. No further posts needed to remind me of that.

Nothing but love for Nazr, but why would a team sign him at his age? He hasn’t done much/anything in his career and is has to be fairly old. Happy for him though, good luck to Naz.

He should retire he is only holding on for a paycheck. You had a nice career you have an ncaa and a world championship. Walk off into the sunset you played on a good team to end your career now walk away.
