More basketball recruits on campus today

Looks like Cal will be entertaining a few more recruits today. In addition to Huntington Prep standouts Andrew Wiggins and Rathan-Mayes, Christen Cunningham, Trey Grundy and Jordan Green will visit campus, according to Evan Daniels.

Cunningham, Grundy, and Green are all 2014 recruits from Henry Clay who also played together on the Louisville Magic AAU team, which dominated the spring and summer AAU circuits.

Cunningham, a 5’10” PG, recently transferred to Henry Clay from Scott County to play with Grundy and Green, who are considered to be two of the elite prospects in the state for the 2014 class. Grundy, a 6’6″ SF, and Green, a 6’4″ SG, visited Indiana last week.

Surely we can top that.

Also, Matt reports that Cal went to Toronto last night to visit Anthony Bennett, a 2012 PF that the Cats have shown increasing interest in the past few weeks. This guy never sleeps.

Watch Bennett do work:

Go Cal.

Never too early to get in good with these kids, especially since they are local. I’m sure Cal will watch them over the next couple of years very closely. I was lookin on ESPNU recruits for 2014 awhile back and they had a few ky kids listed. Be nice if the state starts producing at a higher rate. And if we cant get Mitch McGary, I hope Cal gets Bennet. He’s a big body that can do some damage in the SEC.

“Cunningham, a 5′10″ PG, recently transferred to Henry Clay from Scott County to play with Grundy and Green, who are considered to be two of the elite prospects in the state for the 2014 class.” LOL, how ironic. For once a kid LEAVES Scott Co. to go somewhere else to play with elite players. Hmm, didn’t Euton’s Dad state in a LHL article that Dakotah wanted to play on a team with good players, and didn’t that cause a major blowup with the KHSAA? So did Cunningham have a bona fide change of address and does he (or did he) sit out 1 year?

Nice! Although I’d rather see Ms. Tyler Thompson in a matching UK bra and panty set. Preferably a peekaboo style bra, and crotchless panties 🙂

D’angelo Russell easily the best player on that team.
